Northern Virginia Apartment Association Supports Local Nonprofits

A business litigation and transaction attorney based in Fairfax, Virginia, Ira Saul represents a list of clients that includes real property professionals, law firms, IT companies, and retailers. Outside of his work, Ira Saul has lectured on real estate topics at colleges and universities. He also maintains memberships in legal associations and other professional organizations, including the Northern Virginia Apartment Association.

In addition to representing property management professionals, the Northern Virginia Apartment Association (NVAA) works to give back to the community through various outreach initiatives. Over the years, the organization has raised money and awareness for several groups, including Bridges to Independence, an Arlington nonprofit dedicated to helping the homeless, and Doorways for Women & Families, a nonprofit in Arlington that seeks to protect the homeless and survivors of domestic violence.

In 2016, NVAA members delivered $1,000 worth of Safeway gift cards to Doorways for Women & Families and an additional $1,000 monetary donation to Bridges to Independence. NVAA also partnered with a local pizza parlor to raise over $25,000 for the two nonprofit groups.

Other organizations that have received support from NVAA include the ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia, which helps people with disabilities live more independently. NVAA has also supported a back-to-school drive for underserved children.
